City Officials' Intentional Misconduct - Mount Pleasant, MI Zoning

Freaky Fast Delivery

Mt. Pleasant city officials raise the bar for Jimmy Johns; delivery precedes phone hookup.

The city's product: a 'student' zoning district bounded by Washington, Main, High and Bellows Streets. The phone pending hookup: statutory authorization and proper adoption.

During the August 1st planning commission work session Mrdeza informed the commission that Rowe Public Services Co. was selected to undertake codifying the M-2 Procedures that the ZBA and PC have been 'successfully' employing. Commissioner Quast suggested looking at the student district boundary following the Master Plan update.

It appears that in addition to illegally authorizing and permitting construction city officials are spending $40,000-$50,000 for an outdated Master Plan update.
