- ZBA-01-2012 – 221 Clayton – Joe Olivieri. Applicant is requesting a finding on a non-conforming use, under section 154.007, to allow the redevelopment of a rooming dwelling on a non-conforming lot. As part of the redevelopment, the applicant is requesting a variance to reduce the land area per person to permit an increase in occupancy from 5 to 6.
- ZBA-02-2012 – 1003 Douglas – Joe Olivieri. Applicant is requesting a finding on a non-conforming use, under section 154.007, to allow the redevelopment of a two-unit rooming dwelling. As part of the redevelopment, the applicant is requesting a variance to reduce the land area per person to permit an increase in occupancy from 10 to 12.

Mt. Pleasant city officials reckon Nonconforming Use provisions are applicable when Use is conforming and site plan review is irrelevant for variance and special use permit decisions.
Note current public hearings schedule does not conflict with the NCAA playoff schedule.
